The Conference won the second match of their tour to Oman beating the Omani national XI in a 30 over match by by 92 runs.
The match was played in intense heat with strong sunshine. CCC batted first and scored 261 from their 30 overs. Mark Smith lead the way with 79 from 61 balls. He was well supported by Sam Burge who scored 72 from 49 balls. Richard Hindley kept the board ticking over with 37 from 24 balls.
The Omani national XI were never really up with the asking rate although Mohsin made 66 from 50 balls. James Cramp ran out the dangerous looking Sufyan who had made 30 from 35 balls and the innings subsided from 101 for 3 to 169 all out in 27.4 overs.
Richard Hindley was the pick of the bowlers giving away only 23 runs from his 6 overs. Mark Smith, Donovan Miller & James Cramp wrapped up things for CCC. Mark Smith took 3 for 20 with Donovan Miller & James Cramp each taking 2 wickets.
