Oman won the toss & elected to bat
Oman: 86/9 (20 overs) Vaishall Jesrani 32*, Anje Lague 2/5, Saparna Sivakumar 2/10.
CCC: 87/3 (17.1 overs) Zaynab Khan 39*.

The Oman National Women’s team, on their inaugural overseas tour, faced the CCC in a T20 at Watford Town CC on May 21st, having beaten Wanstead CC with two balls to spare in their opening match.
Oman’s 86 for 8 was built round their redoubtable captain Vaishali Jesrani’s 32 not out. CCC skipper Anje Lague took 2 for 5 in a tight opening spell, and Saparna Sivakumar (borrowed from the Oman squad) did her usual team-mates no favour with 2 for 10, as Oman slipped from a decent position of 60 for 4.
Opener Zaynab Khan, with 39 not out, steered the CCC Women to a convincing 7-wick win in their first fixture of the season.
Amanda Dcosta, for her economic spell, was chosen by the umpires as Omani Player of the Match.
The Omanis’ five-match tour is being facilitated by the National Cricket Conference/Club Cricket Conference. Their highly enthusiastic 14-strong squad was selected from eight teams playing in Oman, where women’s cricket is developing rapidly.
