CCC won by 267 runs.

On a chilly early-season day at Winchmore Hill CC, the Conference Under-25s proved too strong for the University of London, winning the 50-over match by no less a margin than 267 runs.
After opening partner Bilal Mohammad went in the second over, Hamza Ahmed struck a lusty 119, leading the assault on often wayward bowling. Quickfire contributions came from Chris Jones with 26, Dhavalkumar Narotam with 22, and 15-year-old Alan Jones with 27.
Coming in at an already threatening 203 for 4, captain Tom Phillippe hit a powerful 100, to take CCC to a daunting 358 for 8, with help from Shailen Assani and others in the lower order.
Skipper James Vitali ( 2 for 41), Aryan Jain (3 for 40), and Patrick Hatcher (2 for 40) were the best of the nine University bowlers used.
With 30 from Tamoor Haidar and 23 from Aryan Jain (who played a match last year for the CCC), the University began their reply steadily, reaching 80 only two down. Then disaster struck, and eight wickets fell for only 11 runs, the students all out for just 91 in 24.2 overs.
A tidy spell of 2 for 14 by medium-pacer Jake Poulter (a grand-nephew of former CCC president Eddie Poulter) applied the brake. Then, against a rash of reckless shots, the flighted off-spin of Chris Jones (4 for 21) ran through the middle order. Two catches in two balls in the deep by Bilal Mohammad, and then one by Poulter gave Jones his hat-trick.
A sharp slip catch by Phillippe off leggie Tanvir Hasan secured the win.
