Competitions

The Club Cricket Conference run two competitions:

The Conference Cup

The Conference Cup is currently the biggest competition run by CCC and is open to all Member clubs.  It is a 45 overs competition played on Sundays and runs in parallel to the ECBs National Cup with the dates for the early rounds chosen to avoid direct clashes of dates with the National and to allow leeway for rained off or rearranged matches.  The progress of the competition is as reported on the drop down menu above.

The Conference Cup was suspended for 2015. Please see here for our news release of 11th November 2014 explaining the reasons.

It was planned to re-introduce The Conference Cup in 2016, but that was not possible. Please see here for our news release of 14th March 2016 explaining the reasons.

The CCC Board, together with the organisors of the Bertie Joel Cup, decided to re-instate The Conference Cup in 2017, in a competition now to be known as The Conference Cup for the Bertie Joel Trophy. The Rules and Playing Conditions are here

The Sovereign Trophy

The Sovereign Trophy is a knock out competition for affiliated leagues other than the Premier Divisions of the Premier Leagues as designated by the England and Wales Cricket Board. The progress of the competition is as reported on the drop down menu above. The Rules and Playing Conditions are here
